Meet Mike

I am excited to offer my local market expertise to you, whether you are looking to buy your first home, or looking to leverage your existing equity into a new home. An MBA graduate of Seattle University's Albers School of Business, I previously worked as a Procurement Manager, specializing in negotiating purchasing and procurement contracts valued over $400M for some of the Seattle area's largest manufacturers. I am able to leverage this extensive negotiating expertise to help you secure your next home, or close the sale that you deserve.

As a resident of Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood the the last 7 years, I am deeply connected to Seattle's southend and the surrounding communities. I am also a Professional Fire Fighter in the King County area, serving the public when not working in Real Estate. You will see this service mindset flow through to you, seeing you and your goals as the #1 Priority in the transaction.

Outside of Real Estate, I enjoy traveling with my wife Mary, and daughter Michaela. We enjoy cooking at home, paddle boarding on Lake Washington, and wine tasting through all the great new wineries with tasting rooms in SoDo and Georgetown! The Tappert's are also passionate about supporting charities fighting cancers and mental illness. I climb the Columbia Tower (in Full Firefighter Gear) Downtown Seattle every year to fund-raise and support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A portion of all commissions will be donated to one of a small selections of highly effective charities at the end of each transaction.
